Help Cary Brown Recover
Hello Everyone,
On September 15th, our dear friend, Cary Brown, faced an unforeseen accident, resulting in the rupture of the quadriceps tendons in both of his knees. Such an injury to both knees at once is remarkably rare. The very next day, Cary underwent reconstructive surgery to repair the damage. Thankfully, according to his doctors, he's on track for a full and complete recovery.
However, recovery will be a long journey. For the first six weeks post-surgery, Cary's legs will remain immobilized, preventing any bending. Following this period, he faces several months of rigorous rehabilitation. The nature of his injuries means he will face severe limitations in basic activities, such as walking and personal care, which in turn impacts his ability to work.
Many of you know Cary and Tracy. Like us, you may have been blessed by their kindness and generosity at some point. Recognizing the challenges ahead for them, one of our primary goals with this fundraising initiative is to ensure that Cary can focus solely on his recovery without the added pressure of having to work. While Cary is eager to get back to his job, we want it to be a decision based on his well-being and not out of financial necessity. By helping to ease some of their financial burdens, we can genuinely make a difference.
Cary and Tracy have been long-time supporters of Kainos House, a 501c3 organization that distributes humanitarian aid globally. We've linked this fundraising effort with Kainos, ensuring any contributions made through this platform are tax-deductible. If you'd prefer, we can also provide the details if you would prefer to mail them a check directly. Rest assured, 100% of the funds raised will be given to the Browns. If you're able to contribute, it would mean the world to them and to us. Nonetheless, any support—be it a message, prayer, or simply sharing this initiative—is deeply valued.
With heartfelt gratitude and hope,
Andrew Dodson & Amy James.
