Help Charlotte to the vet
Charlotte is a beautiful cat who was abandoned by her previous owners and had a litter of kittens underneath someone's steps. We don't know her age but shes only a baby herself, probably 2 years old or younger.
She took really good care of her babies and they all found homes. She tested negative for FIV and Feline leukemia, but she caught a respiratory illness from another cat and has been taking antibiotics for her cough.
She seems to have developed an eye infection, I have been cleaning it and applying warm compresses but at this time I am unable to pay for a vet visit to get her checked out. The discharge around her eye is dark red and brown, and it reappears quickly after being cleaned and shes struggling to open the affected eye.
I get paid at the end of the month, but I am disabled and living on disability payments of 1200 a month. My health has gotten worse and I need to go to the hospital myself as soon as I can find a way to get there.
If anyone can spare anything so that she can be seen as soon as possible, we would be forever in your debt!
I have had Charlotte for less than a month but her safety and wellbeing means everything to me. I care for her deeply and I want to make sure she is okay and that the infection doesnt get any worse. Her health is in a fragile state after going through the ordeal she did, losing her family and having kittens so young. I don't want to risk her health by waiting, I am trying to see if there is any payment plan that can be offered by a vet to help with getting her seen quicker.
