UPDATE!! COCO HAS ZINC POISONING FROM SWALLOWING A PENNY ... Jessica took Coco to another vet and they did blood work and Xrays and found the coin. She is anemic, her blood cell count is 10 and it should be 30, she has jaundice which means her liver has been affected, she has 104 fever. Coco is a very sick little girl, she's only 8 months old! Emergency surgery is needed and blood transfusions.  Estimate from VSS hospital is from $1600-$2300 and could be more if she needs more days in the hospital. Coco is now at VSS and needs our help. Anything you can do to help would be greatly appreciated!!  Anything we raise over the total bill amount will be donated to Stray Paws Rescue, they have been instrumental in helping Jessica find the best vet and the best hospital to take care of Coco. A Stray Paws Rescue friend, Jessica Montgomery, messaged me in a panic, scared and crying because her dog, Coco is urinating blood. She took him to Creve Coeur animal hospital and is waiting for test results. We are all praying it's nothing serious. Coco is her best friend and she's so afraid Coco is going to die. I've tried to reassure her that if it's a UTI, it's common and treatable but this is her baby <3 Just like everyone else who has a sick pet she's in a panic about vet bills; She overdrew her bank account $200 just to get Coco seen. She is willing to over draw again to save her dog, but I'm hoping friends can help her. Right now she needs $200 to cover existing bill and was quoted approximately $520 for X-Rays and Bloodwork.  Now with Surgery, hospital stay, medication, we are anticipating the bill to be well in the thousands.
