Help Daisy walk again!

My name is Daisy. I'm only four years old and I'm a blast in a glass! I love to run, play and I'm super friendly!! I totally think I'm human.

My Mom and Dad had a dog before me named Taz. Taz got very ill with cancer at 6 years old and my Mom incurred a lot of medical expenses trying to find out what was wrong and get him the treatment he needed.  He was a tough guy but he couldn't beat it.

Mom and Dad were heartbroken. Especially Mom.  They decided they needed a new family member so they adopted me from a shelter and here I am! She takes me everywhere. I'm pretty much her child 😀 I have my own bedroom!! I'm literally her life. We are super close.

On memorial day weekend Mom was in the yard with me playing and I hurt my knee. I was only walking on three legs. Mom took me to the emergency clinic to get x-rays. Turns out I tore my ACL and had to see a surgeon. The following day from the strain of using only three legs I did the same thing to my other knee when I was trying to go to the bathroom!! I also tore my meniscus. My poor Mom had to carry me inside and then to the surgical appointment because I was/ unable to walk.

The news we got was tough on Mom. Surgery and therapy would cost 4800 for one leg and now I need both done. My Mom's job is willing to let her work from home to keep me safe while I recover. My Daddy is going to build me a pen to hangout in. Mom doesn't want to put me down, I'm way too young for that!! After losing Taz, she can't bear the the thought of doing that when it's something fixable so she decided to take out a loan and do whatever was necessary to make me whole again. She's the best Mom!!! Mom's family put this together to try and help out with some of the surgical costs. I'm going in Friday June 2nd for my first surgery and will have my other knee done in one month. Every little bit helps so we all really appreciate anything you can do to contribute!!!

Love,

Daisy
