Help Dan & Trish rebuild after Gravette house fire. In the middle of the night, Dan and Trish Henderson were awakened by their dogs barking frantically. Thanks to their loyal pets, they were able to escape safely as fire consumed their home in Gravette, Arkansas. By the next morning, everything inside the house was gone — nothing was recoverable. This was the house that held 50 years of their life together. It was filled with irreplaceable trinkets and treasures: souvenirs from family vacations, handmade gifts from their children and grandchildren, and countless small mementos marking birthdays, anniversaries, and everyday joy. The fire took Trish’s original wedding dress from 50 years ago and their cherished wedding rings. It destroyed the special family table where everyone gathered for dinners and holidays, along with 50 years of Christmas ornaments that had decorated their tree each year in the room full of laughter and celebration. Most heartbreaking of all, this was the home where their seven grandchildren created lasting bonds. Their two older grandkids (now young adults) and five younger ones (ages 10 down to 4) loved playing together, celebrating birthdays, and making memories with cousins and siblings in this special home. That space of joy and connection is now gone. Less than a month before their 50th wedding anniversary, Dan and Trish lost nearly everything they owned. Instead of celebrating this major milestone, they are now focused on basic survival — temporary housing, clothing, and replacing essential household items. They are currently staying with family while figuring out next steps. Dan and Trish have always put family first. They opened their home to create memories for their children, grandchildren, family and friends, quietly helped others whenever they could. Now, in their time of need, their two sons and the rest of the family are coming together to support them — but the financial burden of starting over is heavy.
