Hello, my name is DaVonda Smith, I am twelve years old and I love playing tennis. I have been playing tennis since I was 4 years old.  I am raising money for private lessons, entry fees, and travel expense to tournaments.  I stay with my mom who is a single parent, who does everything she can to help me with my dreams.  However, she can only do so much because after the monthly bills and with some unforeseen things, like her car that needs repairs, she doesn't have much left.  She cannot afford to send me to all the tournaments that I need to attend to showcase my talent.  I know if I can play more national tournaments which are all over the US, people will notice my God given talent and help me.  Even with the little means that I do have, I have accomplished a lot: I am 11 in Georgia, 29 in Southern, and 425 in the nation.  I know I can bring my national ranking up, if I had the monies to travel to other states besides Georgia.
