I started this fundraiser because I need help paying for dentures. In the video, I’m in my kitchen frying a burger and talking about what this has been like for me. As I move around the kitchen, I have to hold on to the stove or counter because of my condition and the risk of falling. I want people to understand that this is not just about teeth. It is about being able to eat, stay safe, keep my dignity, and get some relief from the bills I have fallen behind on because it has been hard for me to work consistently.

So far, $1,100 has been raised toward the fundraiser. The public goal is $1,997, which is the first amount I am trying to reach so I can move forward with the denture need and reduce some of the immediate pressure.

Your help will go first toward the dentures I need, and then toward the bills I have fallen behind on while dealing with my health issues. Even a small donation helps me get closer to taking care of the dental work I need and easing some of the pressure I’m under right now.

This is not easy for me to share, because I have always tried to handle my responsibilities myself, but my health has made this season harder than I expected. I would much rather pay for everything from money I earn. That is still my goal. But because of my health, it has been hard to work consistently enough to catch up. That is why I’m asking for help at this time.
