In honor of Benita and her love to travel, as well as do some internal reflecting on what the next chapter in my life might look like, I'm going on a road trip. I got this 1997 Dodge Van converted into a camper for this trip and am just as nervous as I am excited. I am heading out on Monday, September 30th and plan on being back on November 22nd. Just shy of 8 weeks. My route will bring me through the Grand Tetons, Yellowstone, into Montana, over to the Redwood National Forest, down the west coast Hwy 1, ultimately down to Dockweiler Beach in California. Where Benita used to have birthdays growing up. My trip back is loosely planned but for sure will be seeing the Grand Canyon and Carlsbad Caverns.

I've done rough numbers on cost of supplies, food, fuel, campsite fees, a handful of adventures and emergency money in case something happens to the van. To have a comfortable trip I'm looking at roughly $15,000 with any additional money raised going towards medical bills that still have not been paid. If you do not feel compelled to donate or not in a position to donate, that is entirely fine. Sending good vibes, positive energy and/or prayers for a safe trip are also greatly appreciated.
