As many of you know by now, Dr. Harold Steinberg is facing health challenges that will unfortunately end his life.

For the past several years, despite pain and illness, and knowing he was sick, Dr. Steinberg, who practiced medicine the "old fashioned way" making house-calls to his patients, continued to travel to his patients to help them even while his body deteriorated. In order to help pay bills at home and save as much as possible for emergencies, Harold often went without anything he didn't immediately need, including Life Insurance.

Unfortunately, this leaves Dr. Steinberg's family, Erin and the grandson that they raise, Tristian, 13, without half the income they've always had. Erin works hard but needs to be there for Harold while he's on hospice, not away from him working. In addition, when she is able to return to work, they will need help to make up for his lost income until she has work that can provide everything they need.

Their monthly expenses are about $3-3,500. In order for Erin to be able to spend this time with and caring for her husband, it is important that she not work right now. Following his passing, they will need time to adjust and grieve, so we are hoping we can at least secure $15,000 for them to cover their monthly expenses so they are not having to worry about finances during this difficult time.
