Matt & Ell Keep the House
I know this is a long-shot, but we're out of options. We need 100k to pay off the divorce settlement or on September 1st the court seizes the house and sells it, resulting in additional financial losses.
Ell and I have lived here for 10 years. This is our home. They've taken acidic soil and made it into a flourishing garden that helps feed the community. We've built and fixed things over the years, sheltered others who found themselves displaced, and Ell in particular has been a staple in this community. We don't want to lose the life we've built here.
We've tried every HELOC and loan and bank we can get our hands on. I'm at a loss, and I am just hoping for a miracle at this point.
If we don't meet our goal in time, all the funds will go to helping with moving costs.
