My name is Zachary, and I am hoping to raise funds to help get back on my feet after sudden kidney failure.

Recently, I had gotten back in touch with my family and had been planning to move back to the apple orchard and take over the business. However, mid-August, I was hit with sudden kidney failure. I was diagnosed with CKD Stage 3B and IgA Nephropathy (Berger's Disease). A triple biopsy revealed that there was already heavy scarring in one kidney, and that I was likely headed for dialysis in the near future.

I unfortunately lost my job due to the long hospital stay, and have struggled to find meaningful employment since due to this diagnosis and my previous thoracic spinal injury. Now, even taking over the family business seems like a stretch, but I am hoping to get the medical equipment and care that I need in order to return and reopen the orchard.

Some of the equipment and needs I am hoping to raise funds for include:

• Blood Pressure Cuff
• Vitamins to supplement aggressive steroid treatment
• Thoracic back brace
• Cost of transportation to/from appointments
• Rent for the coming month
