I’m reaching out for a little help with an issue that has become increasingly hard to handle on my own, my car. Unfortunately, my 2013 Kia Rio has been dealing with a number of issues recently—most notably an exhaust leak, which has caused my car to sputter and shake when I accelerate, not able to really go over 55 mph on flat roads, 25 on hills. On top of that, the check engine light is now on, and the brake light won’t turn off, even though I’m not using the brake. With winter temperatures dropping below freezing, the car's condition has gotten even worse, and while I’ve been working on saving to get it fixed, I am very worried that I will not be able to fully fund the repairs on my own before irreparable damage is done to the engine.

As you can imagine, having a reliable car is essential for getting to work, running errands, and managing my daily life. The repair costs are adding up, and I’m struggling to cover them on my own. I’m hoping to raise enough funds to get the exhaust leak fixed and address other necessary repairs so I can stay safe on the road. I’ve been quoted $2,000 just to start addressing the exhaust leak issue and am told it may even need a catalytic converter, which is more costly.

If you can spare even a small amount, it would mean the world to me. Any contribution will go directly toward fixing my car and getting it back in working order. I’m trying to push my online shop and have open commissions as well.
