Community Benefit Fundraiser for Asher Thompson

Come Together. Make a Difference.

On June 12, 2026, a devastating accident changed the lives of a local family. Ten-year-old

Asher Thompson was struck by two vehicles while riding his bicycle on State Road 52 in Pasco

County. What followed was every parent's worst nightmare.

Asher's Fight for Life

Following the accident, Asher was rushed to the ICU in critical condition with life-threatening

injuries. He suffered severe trauma, including:

● A nearly amputated leg that required emergency surgery.

● Significant blood loss.

● Multiple skull fractures leading to dangerous brain swelling.

To manage the swelling and pressure, doctors placed Asher in a medically induced coma and

inserted a device to manage spinal fluid flow. For weeks, his survival was uncertain. But Asher

is a fighter. He has recently opened his eyes, started showing facial expressions like smiling and

crying, and has been transferred to a skilled nursing facility to continue his long and difficult road to recovery.

While Asher fights to heal, his family is enduring unimaginable stress. The family is currently overwhelmed by:

● Mounting, astronomical medical bills.

● Ongoing travel costs for specialized care and treatments.

● Everyday living expenses while experiencing a sudden loss of income.

We are hosting a massive community benefit to ease the financial burden on Asher’s family so

they can focus entirely on his healing.

● When: Saturday, August 29, 2026 | 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM

● Where: Planet One 9 (Food Truck Park) | 11721 US-19 S, Port Richey, FL 34668

Event Highlights Include:

● Vehicle Meet-up (3:00 PM): Bring out your cars, trucks, Jeeps, motorcycles, classics,

and customs. Anything on wheels is welcome!

● Poker Run Finale: Starts at participating locations and ends at Planet One 9.

● Live Music: Performance by Behind The Haze starting at 7:00 PM.

● Food & Fun: Food trucks, a vendor market, a bounce house for the kids, and a blood

drive.

● Ways to Give: Participate in our 50/50 drawing, silent auction, and raffle baskets, or drop

off a contribution at our donation station.

Every donation, auction bid, raffle ticket, and act of kindness helps support Asher and his family.
