Help for homeless friends

Hello and thank you for looking at this fundraiser.

It has recently come to my attention that I have two friends that have become homeless and I want to do what I can to try to help them get back on their feet. I am not local to them, so I can't do much in person. It's cold and they both are in Tennessee so I would like to help them get out of the cold and be able to start putting their lives back together.

My heart breaks in two for them - I hate to see anyone in this type of situation but honestly, we are all one step away from it being us. I believe we should reach out and help our neighbors in need anytime there IS a need, we never know when we may need help. I wish I could physically be there and help them out but both are 4-6 hours away.

I will be splitting each donation evenly between the two friends and sending the funds to them via Cashapp/Venmo.

Friend 1 - lost her husband due to an aggressive cancer. She lost her house and everything when he passed. Due to some health issues herself, she also has been out of work. She is living in a tent in the cold - and where she lives - they do get snow. I believe she is trying to move to another state where her mother lives. I would love to be able to help her do that quicker before the situation gets more serious.

Friend 2 - I've known most of my life. He has helped me out a lot in life and I want to be able to give back to him. He's recently become homeless and is living in a vehicle that is about to be repossessed. He is really bad off and having bad thoughts about harming himself and due to his health, he can't work, he's just waiting on his disability to start coming thru. I've reached out and looked for local places that may be able to assist him, but I'm not finding much. He has a lot of health problems he needs to have tended to and goes days/weeks without eating much. He also lives in a part of Tennessee that gets very cold/has snow. I'd love to see him be able to get out of the cold, also and get the help he needs.

No amount is too small. I've helped them both out on my own, but the need is greater than what I can personally do right now. If you're not able to donate monetarily, I absolutely understand - it's rough times out there for everyone. A simple share on social media can do as much good as a donation.

From the bottom of my heart - thank you! Feel free to message me with any further questions you may have.
