When life throws you punches sometimes you need help from family and friends to punch back!

My brother Joe and his wife Janice have been through tough times in life before but have always persevered and managed on their own. As many of you may know, Joe was diagnosed with cancer this past September and has continued to work while receiving chemo and radiation treatments. He accomplished this even while feeling nauseated and weak most days. He does what he needs to do to get bills paid. However, these last few weeks have taken a toll and are proving to be tough. He has been increasingly weaker, unable to eat much and definitely unable to work. When he doesn't work he doesn't get paid. On top of all that, Janice had a car accident.  Thankfully everyone is ok but her van was totaled by the insurance company.  Once it's considered totaled you are unable to insure it again. Between mounting medical bills, deductibles and the expense to find a replacement vehicle with wheelchair capability for Janice, it's become too much. Having all this weight on your mind does not help you concentrate on getting better. So, I am coming to you with hope that we can make it possible for them to focus on recovery instead of bills. If any of you can help in any way with Joes recovery and Janice's ability to be independent, our family would be incredibly grateful!
