My name's Brian Hoglan. This is a fundraiser for my Grandma Judy.

Judy is an absolutely amazing woman with a the biggest heart imaginable. Judy's had a rough month, unfortunately. In November she lost her youngest son very unexpectedly. While working to recover from that trauma her house burned down on December 20th. Her house contained her life. All her possessions were destroyed. Her cats were sadly found among the ashes of the house. Thankfully her two dogs survived. We are extremely thankful that she was not home at the time and thus is safe.

Judy has lived a life of service to her community. She's retired, but that doesn't mean she's slowed down at all. Currently she helps run a non-profit food bank in her home town of Canon City, Colorado. It's a small town and the food bank ensures that residents in need don't go hungry. Previous to this she was an EMT helping the sick and injured. She spent some time volunteering as a wildland firefighter battling wildfires in Colorado.

Please give what you can. The purpose of this is to help her get back on her feet. She has the clothes on her back and that's about it. Once we help her get back on her feet I know she'll go right back to helping our communities.

Her foodbank posted this on Facebook. Donations can still be sent directly to the bank. This online fundraiser was started because of multiple requests from people local to Washington. A fundraiser wasn't setup previously due to sites taking a percentage of your donations. This site is funded by voluntary donations directly to the site and they will not take anything from donations to this campaign. All of your donated money will go directly to our cause.
