My family lost everything a little over a year ago. After being laid off from my job, we lost our apartment, one of our cars and most of our belongings. We had to stay in hotels for a while before finally moving to another state to stay with family. It took a while to find a job! I finally found one I can manage, but with my health problems, I struggle. I have had issues for years and only now have I finally found a doctor that actually listens. I have tested positive on an autoimmune screening, but have to get a bunch more tests done to figure out what it is. Our car died and we had to get another car with the help of someone we believed to be a friend that co-signed. That person is making the whole situation hard on us. I need to refinance the car into only my name, but we are already getting behind on payments because of my health and more financial issues. We have 3 kids and we are barely getting by. We just want to get things caught up, get my health figured out and eventually have a chance of renting our own place. We feel like we will never completely get on our feet again, but with some help, we could have a chance!
