My poor poor Peanut! 1 1/2 weeks ago I came back to my dorm room after class only to find my beloved German Shepard, Peanut, flopped on the floor of my room so lathargic she could barely lift her head. I rushed her to the ERVet in Westfield only to find out she had marijuana poisoning. Imagine my horror to hear such a thing when I do not smoke weed or consume edibles. Sure I have a glass of wine now and again but for Pete sake I am a criminal justice major. Not an option for me!!! So to continue… I rushed her to the animal ER near where I go to school and that’s where she was diagnosed. I was treated so horribly when they saw what was wrong and made me feel Ike I was the worst person in the world! NOT what I needed.. I needed compassion and answers. I was also belittled because I had no way to pay for the visit. I’m a full time college student with a support animal that was just poisoned. No payments arrangements. I had to call everyone I knew to find $300+ to pay the bill or they wouldn’t let me leave.

Now again I came back from class and this time I know she has not been out in the common area because I locked my bedroom door. This time she is worse it seems she has lost all of the weight I was able to help her gain after rescuing her from a traumatic situation. This time I truely need help. I have no where to turn for the kind of money this may take.

I’m asking for help in any amount to help me save Peanut! She is my world. And I don’t know what else do do. Thank you in advance for any help!
