My name is Sondos, and I am 22 years old. I live in Gaza with my parents, my four sisters, and three brothers, the youngest being just nine years old.

Before the war, I was a student of medical analysis. I worked hard and dreamed of becoming a specialist who could help save lives in my community. Education was my path to a better future, not just for me, but for my family and my people.

But when the war began, everything changed. My university was bombed, my studies stopped, and my dreams were put on hold. Still, I have not given up. Even in the hardest times, I hold onto the hope of continuing my education and graduating one day.

My father is a paramedic who risks his life every day to save others, even as our own family struggles to survive. With the blockade and rising prices, it has become almost impossible to afford basic needs, let alone pay for my university tuition.
