Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky Take Back the Night seeks to end Sexual Violence in all its forms including sexual harassment, sexual assault, sexual abuse, incest and human trafficking.Take Back the Night events empower survivors in the healing process, honor those who did not survive and inspires responsibility in all. The goal of Take Back the Night is to create safe communities and respectful relationships through awareness events and initiatives.This year will be our 29th year of Take Back The Night in the Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky area and we are seeking funds to help cover the event costs.

Our event will be in Washington Park with preliminary activities beginning  at 6:00 pm, and our event will start at 6:30-930 pm. Our theme this year is "Your Voice Has Power," which we feel this is relevant with the all the attention to our cause due to the #MeToo Movement sweeping our country recently.  In keeping with our call to action, we invite all Survivors and Supporters/ Allies to come share an evening connecting with others who are walking the path of survivorship. There will be opportunity for those seeking information or services, a support group, a platform to speak out or to stand in solidarity with other survivors. We will have a Drum Circle, A Healing Tent with opportunity for free healing and live performances by One Billion Rising and Muse. There will be some great Prizes including a Gift Basket of Wine and Wine Glasses, Reds Hall of Fame Tickets, a Massage, and a Gift Bag from Sephoria & Ulta Beauty are a few items for our Raffle Ticket Drawing ($1 donation per ticket). 

There are several ways you can support us:1) Make a donation in any amount, 2) be an Individual or Corporate Sponsor, or 3) Volunteer time to help during the event. With a donation of $15 or more, you can pre-order an event tee shirt (design posted on our Facebook page). **There will be a limited supply of shirts at the event so the only way to secure we will have one in your size is to make a donation of $15 or more before 1pm on the day of the event.
