Help fund for cancer
Hi everyone. If you don’t know me, my name is Ashley. My mom was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. If you know anything about my mom, it would be that she would literally give you the shirt off her back to help you. She is no stranger to trying to help everyone. As a matter of fact, she provides a lot of support for my sister and I. Her job thankfully is protected, however I fear we won’t be able to make rent or other bills. I personally am employed, however what I make doesn’t touch our bills compared to my mom. She would work 90-100 hours biweekly to cover our bills and she’s easily cut that in half unfortunately due to the chemo.
I am also the person that transports my mom to and from her medical appointments, which makes the possibility of a second job for me impossible, which was heavily considered. She’s on chemotherapy right now, and for those who don’t know, chemo gets you extremely sick, typically bed bound. We do get a little from state, however it is no where near enough. So she would have to push through and work, when in all honesty, she needs to be home resting. I am trying my hardest to help her, but I am already working the most hours my job would allow me. I would do absolutely everything and anything for my mom, and right now that’s asking for help.
No one ever expects cancer to show up, and it had put us in a situation I can no longer handle alone.
I am desperately asking for help, and I understand money is tight, but even $1 is beneficial and we would be eternally grateful. Normally my mom’s life is so full, always helping others, a friend to everyone she meets, and has such a kind, loving heart. So seeing her this drained and in pain is absolutely heartbreaking. It hurts to see her suffer this much. She’s a beautiful person, and as much love and help she has put out into the world, it would be amazing if she could get even a little bit of that returned to her. Especially now. And if you can’t donate, a share could be life changing. Thank you so much for your time reading this.
