For those who do not know Gabe, he is a 15 year old, the youngest of 12 children, who has been passionate about volleyball since age 3. He bagan playing homeschool volleyball at age 6 and joined Kaizen club volleyball at age 8! After losing his Dad at 7 years of age, volleyball became an outlet for Gabriel and some of his brothers. They have all excelled in the sport since.

Gabriel's team earned a bid to Nationals in Orlando July 1-4, 2023! His team is also attending a tournament June 16th and 17th in Chicago, in preparation for Nationals. Gabriel and a teammate also earned a bid to Beach Nationals in Ft. Lauderdale in the middle of July! He has worked so hard for many years to reach the level he is now playing in!

All of the traveling has become very expensive. While I have been a full-time college student this year, as a widow on a fixed income, it is very hard to make this next month happen for him. While other methods of raising the funds for hotel, travel, food, and his portion of tournament fees have not been successful, I am trying a crowdfunding platform. Ultimately, we are trusting our Heavenly Father to make it happen! The tournament costs for Chicago and Nationals is $750, the cost to rent a car (as ours is in "engine failure") averages $400-$600 per trip (x3 trips), plus hotel and food costs adds up quickly! ANY support you can offer, donations, prayers, and/or sharing with others is appreciated more than you know! I just want to see Gabriel join his teammates and reap the reward for the hardworking he has put in playing for Kaizen since age 8!
