Help get Amanda Gargac to NYC
Hey all, my sister Amanda needs our help!
For the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards, she will be traveling to New York City to accept her National Gold Medal for her painting, "Storyteller", of our Grandpa Raymond.
The Scholastic Art & Writing Awards is the nation's longest-running and most prestigious recognition program for students in grades 7–12. Over 330,000 pieces were entered across the country and Amanda ranked in the top .1% winning a National Gold Medal.

"Storyteller" by Amanda Gargac
She will be receiving the award in the historic Carnegie Hall and her painting will be on display in a gallery in NYC.
I've watched her dedicate herself to her paintings, putting in countless hours to get to this point. She has been looking forward to this 3-day trip for a long time, but without enough financial help, she won't be able to attend.
It would mean the world to Amanda to go to NYC and be recognized for all of her hard work.
