LET'S GET CHRIS HOME - HELP US BUILD A RAMP

Christopher has been in the hospital since May 12. As most of you know, he has endured multiple surgeries and other procedures, including a leg amputation. Despite the many potholes and pitfalls in his recovery, he has continued to persevere and prove his strength and determination. We are happy to report that the time is quickly approaching when he will finally get to come home. Although our ultimate goal is to have Chris use a prosthetic to help him become more independently mobile, we know that process will take quite a bit of time and will be done later, through outpatient therapy. In the meantime, Chris will come home in a wheelchair.

In order for Chris to come home, we need to have an ADA wheelchair ramp constructed and installed to allow him to get into the house. Cathy and I have decided to start a fund raising campaign to help finance the cost of the materials to build the ramp. We are working with his support staff to secure assistance for the other home modifications that are needed to allow him to navigate in the house. This process will take up to three months for the paperwork to clear and we really can't wait that long for the ramp.

So, for those of you who have asked what you could do to help, here's your chance. If you would like to contribute, please know your help will be appreciated.
