After nearly a year of job searching with no offers, my savings are gone. I’ve been staying in a friend’s sunroom, but I’ve been asked to leave by September 1st. I need to secure housing quickly — not just for me, but for my cat, Henry, my anchor through it all.

I’m raising $5,000 for moving costs, temporary housing, and a fresh start in Portland — where job prospects are better, I have a supportive community, and healers who can help me address chronic pain from a car accident that caused a 9mm herniated disc. Without proper treatment, it’s led to arthritis, and displacement makes healing impossible. Without help, I’ll have to give up Henry and enter the shelter system — something I am trying to avoid.
