Toward the end of last year, Samantha* finally freed herself and her 3 young children from an abusive marriage of over a decade. She was granted a restraining order against him, but he knows she is staying with friends and has violated the restraining order by leaving anonymous "gifts" at the residence and the park where she frequents with her children. This is highly disturbing behavior. He has had a pattern of abuse before, with other women, and with violating other restraining orders. He insisted on moving her away from her support system as well as her family in another state, and he has had full financial control for the past five years. His well-connected family has gotten him out of trouble several times. He has no regard for the law and refuses to get divorced, so she MUST get a lawyer, for hers and her children's safety. Her eldest child has started speaking of the abuse his father has inflicted upon him as well.. 

This man has access to guns and is highly dangerous. Samantha needs your help to hire a good lawyer and start a new life - one where both she and her children can be safe from this man. Ultimately, she needs money for legal assistance to obtain full custody of her children, so he cannot hurt her or the 3 children ever again and so she can leave the state she is currently in to come back home to family and friend support.
