I am in need of financial help. I took my vehicle in for a recall in May and found out it needs a new battery (It's a 2021 VW ID4 electric car). I dropped it off on 5/19/25 and still as of today 7/31/25 it is waiting for a battery and I was informed there is a nationwide shortage. The problem is I use that car and specifically bought that car for Uber driving (my part time gig). The dealership gave me a loaner to use but I cannot Uber in it and Uber was paying my rent. Since them I have had to charge rent on a credit card and now they are getting high and still no ETA on the battery. I am paying a car payment and insurance and I don't have my car. Any help would be greatly appreciated from me and my 2 kids :)
