My name is Nina Gorman, a psychotherapist and social science teacher in Philadelphia USA who has been a humanitarian for causes of social justice for years, I started this campaign after hearing from my friend Shaker Ibrahim Abo Shoqa (age 34) a sweet dedicated teacher like myself (who I befriended about 10 months ago on social media with many daily conversations) about the events in Gaza. A few weeks ago he told me about the sudden widowing and injuries of his cousin Abeer, Muhammed Shaker Abu Shoqa and Abeer's five children, Nesma (21), Abdul (19), Ahmed (16), Basma (12), and Labiba (6) from bombing in the current war as well as his own increasing challenges of he and his wife Nermen (27) and their three children (Ibrahim , Ahmed and 8 months old Naama in struggling to survive with the blockade of aide in Gaza at the Egyptian crossing that is now causing starvation of many.

Abeer and her children remain hospitalized with serious injuries of head contusions, fractures and burns. I hope this fundraiser can help provide these families with means for food, water, medications for pain, repair of the limbs and grafting, and to pay for treatment for their hospital stay and a little clothes and socks and few toys for the children. Abeer's loss of her husband, her injuries to herself and her children have caused all of them to have panic and tears and fear of not being able to heal or survive and thrive. No donation is too small and all are much appreciated.

My name is Shaker and I live in Buriej Camp in the middle of the Gaza Strip. My house was bombed in the 2014 war when my mother and two sisters were killed, my mother in front of me and I sustained permanent injuries including in my eyes. Then again our house was destroyed in the current war which led to my separation from my wife and children who live in a tent in Al-Mawasi. I humbly ask you to help with anything to help us survive and for me to be reunited with my wife and children. It hurts my soul heart that I can't hold my children or even my little baby Naama who was born at the start of the war. I hope this war will end and peace will spread throughout the world.

My name is Abeer. My husband Hazem and brother Mohammed were killed weeks ago in this terrible war while my children and I sustained these terrible injuries.in the same bombing in the vicinity of Bureij. Our house was bombed and completely destroyed and my children are all injured and struggling to heal in the hospital. I ask you to help alleviate our pain and to help us heal from our injuries, be free from hunger, to have some hope so that we can be happy again and live a life of dignity. We appreciate anything you can do to help us even if is a little to assist us in our trauma. We wish you blessings and peace.
