help jae w/ her probation

hi, my name is jae! i am a 24 year old poet + illustrator from Nashville, TN, and I need your help in completing my probation before my 10/30/26 court date. my probation costs about $1675 + the other $1375 will go towards closing out my attorney fees. about a year ago, I was stopped after falling asleep at the wheel not far from home in Rutherford County, after a long day all across middle tennessee. although my family was able to help me bail out + secure me initial legal representation, the mounting legal costs of keeping me out of jail have made it terribly difficult to continue assisting me, as we have been stretched in grief through the loss of my great grandmother + caring for my niece and nephews without their mother (my late sister). i come from a very resilient brood, so up until now I have been somewhat ashamed of asking for further assistance for fear of seeming incapable or divulging too much about my own life to get the help i need, but I have been through so many miracles in the season, I'd figured I'd shoot in the dark for one more. It's only been a little over a year since I graduated college in debt, and I got arrested 2 months after. I really don't want this 2 continue 2 hamper my career or endeavors simply because I don't have the socioeconomic status needed 2 "truly atone" for a life or mistake that was directly impacted by said financials. Nobody should have to, but that's the legacy of the TN Justice system. I studied the ways regular folk are criminalized every day by virtue of the plight of Black folks here, and being more likely to receive punishment under the system than genuinely evil people has made me feel powerless for too long, so help me wrestle my ankle loose. I appreciate all your support and help, may the alms be returned back threefold.

thank you,

amen & ase

jae.
