Help Jessica Help Young Dems
I am going to the Young Democrats of America National Convention as a delegate from Colorado! The Colorado Young Democrats are sending THIRTY delegates to Dallas to learn, network, learn, elect new national leadership, and ... learn. I am honored to be part of this group and hope you'll support my attendance to this convention.
I applied to be a delegate and am attending the convention with three goals in mind:
1. Learn all that I can, so I can share valuable information with the Party in Colorado.
2. Guide, support, and encourage younger delegates so they can get as much out of the convention as possible.
3. Amplify the Colorado delegation from communications to pushing to get Colorado delegates in national leadership positions, I want to make sure Colorado is recognized as the leader it is.
Can you please help me and other Colorado delegates cover the costs of attending the convention?
By supporting me and other Young Dems, you are investing in the improvement of the Democratic Party and this country. We need well-trained, knowledgeable leaders to guide us into the future. This convention is where some of that training and knowledge gathering can happen.
As you can see, I'm raising $800 for myself. Any money I raise over the $800 will go to help other delegates meet their costs. Specifically, I am asking for funds to cover my flight, room, transportation in Dallas, and food. Additionally, if I don't need the full $800 because food and transportation are cheaper than I expect, I will donate the remainder of the $800 to help other delegates' pay for meals and transportation. Any contribution you make to this campaign will not qualify as a contribution to the Colorado Democratic Party.
Thank you for investing in and supporting me and other Colorado Young Democrats.
