I’m asking for help paying for dermatology appointments and treatment for my skin (Cutaneous Lupus Erythematosus). This is something personal that has been difficult to share, but I’ve reached a point where I need to ask for support rather than keep trying to figure everything out alone.

Recently, I had to pay to repair my car so I could continue working. It was an expense I couldn’t put off, but paying for it left me with very little room to cover another significant cost.

At the same time, I’ve been dealing with concerns about my skin and need dermatology care. My insurance doesn’t cover that care, which means I have to pay for appointments and treatment out of pocket. After covering the car repair and trying to keep up with everyday expenses, I simply don’t have enough left to afford the help I need.

It’s difficult to be in a position where working and taking care of my health feel like competing priorities. Repairing my car meant I could keep earning money, but it didn’t make the medical expenses disappear. I’m continuing to work and contribute what I can, while trying to find a way to move forward with my care.

I know many people are facing financial struggles of their own, and I don’t take anyone’s generosity for granted. Whether someone is able to contribute a few dollars or a larger amount, that support would help reduce the financial barrier between me and getting care.
