Help Support Justin and Family During a Medical Emergency
❤️🩹
Early last week, Justin was admitted to the hospital and diagnosed with Asymmetrical Ventricular Hypertrophy, a serious condition affecting the heart. Over the past week, the medical team has been able to stabilize his blood pressure and take pressure off his heart to prevent a stroke or heart attack.
The next steps include visits with his Nephrologist and Cardiologist for an MRI to check if other parts of the heart have thickened and to assess kidney function. Thankfully, with time, proper medications, and lifestyle changes, there is hope that his heart can begin to heal and recover.
This came at an especially challenging time for the family—they had just moved into their new home in Anna, TX, and hadn’t even finished unpacking before this crisis began. Justin will need to miss several weeks of work during his recovery, and as an hourly employee, this will significantly impact the family’s ability to cover everyday expenses. His wife, Aly, stayed with him the entire week at the hospital and therefore was unable to work as well.
We are reaching out for support to help Justin, Aly and their kiddos during this difficult time. Any contribution—big or small—will go directly to helping with household needs, groceries, bills, and essentials while Justin focuses on recovery.
