Help Kelsie&disabled kids
United Healthcare has begun the process of laying off 30k employees for "efficiency." This is insane. My friend Kelsie has been working there for years, was a team lead, and was the sole provider for their house and two disabled children - one of whom who has had multiple brain surgeries, with more surgeries still to come, at the ripe young age of 6 years old.
Kelsie was not only working full time, but also currently is a full time student getting ready to graduate with a Masters in Social Work. Their job at United Healthcare was how they were paying for the surgeries, both kid's medications (some of which cost over $1000), and the hundreds of doctors appointments not only for the kids, but also for themself because they have Lupus.
Needless to say, they have a lot on their plate and now that their job is in the process of laying them off they need some help to continue to pay for the medical care and bills until they find a new job.
Thank you so much in advance for any help you send their way. I know they will appreciate it so much <3
