Kristi has been experiencing debilitating illness on and off since childhood. In May of 2017 she was clinically diagnosed with chronic late stage Lyme disease. Over the last 4 years, Kristi's condition has declined at an alarming rate. She is now having debilitating symptoms on a daily basis, and can no longer do many of the activities she loves to do.

Due to the complexities of chronic Lyme disease, insurance will not cover much of Kristi's medical treatments. She has been traveling back and forth from Las Vegas, Nevada to Phoenix, Arizona to see a Lyme specialist every 6 weeks! She has been spending between $600-800 out of pocket every month on therapeutic trials, and travel expenses. Even though she is sick, Kristi gets up everyday and works full time. However, with all of these out of pocket medical expenses she is struggling to make ends meet.

Due to the nature of late stage chronic Lyme disease specialty tests are needed to determine exactly which bacterial infections Kristi is dealing with. There are many different strains of Borrellia, and co-infections that cause chronic Lyme disease.

Kristi's doctor is urging her to have a specialty test done ASAP. This test looks for the DNA of specific bacteria, unlike the blood tests which only detect antibodies. This test will cost $600 out of pocket.
Kristi's savings have been exhausted. She has been living paycheck to paycheck trying to purchase all the medications and testing that is needed to treat this complex illness. Please give what you can, and share this fundraiser!
