Help Lauren Rebuild
This fundraiser is to help our daughter, Lauren Avila, during a crisis.
A domestic situation at her home escalated into a police incident and caused the near-complete destruction of her home and its contents. As a result, her husband is in custody, and we hope he will obtain the appropriate care while Lauren moves to rebuild on her own.
We are heartbroken and rallying to support her, but the need is overwhelming. Lauren is technically homeless and faces a total rebuild while covering monthly expenses (mortgage and utilities) and legal fees.
Many have asked how they can help, so we set up this fundraiser. The insurance deductible is $13,000, and it remains unclear how much will be covered. The funds raised here will support repairs not covered. expenses and legal fees. No amount is too small, and we appreciate any assistance to help her rebuild.
