Help Les Overcome
Les Mullins is the kind of neighbor everyone dreams of having, he's the nicest person I've ever met and always willing to lend a hand to anyone he can despite the incredible challenges life has thrown his way. Les is battling serious heart issues with three blockages that require immediate open heart surgery and on top of that he's diabetic and has had both of his legs amputated, plus does dialysis for his failing kidneys. He has to wear that life vest you see in the photo daily.
Les lives in a worn down old trailer with his two beloved dogs. Even with his health conditions he works at a local thrift store sorting clothes for a small wage but it is far from enough to cover his medical bills and make his living situation comfortable. He still drives his car "old blue" which has been modified so he can control everything with his hands.
Despite everything he's going through, Les keeps a smile on his face and an open heart. Now we want to give back to someone who's given so much to others. This fundraiser is a surprise for less, to help with his medical bills, living conditions, and any other needs he has in this difficult time.
He truly is one of the nicest people I've ever met in my entire life and he really does deserve some help. We take him dinner and diet sodas all the time but we don't have the means to significantly help him like he needs. Any help no matter how small is deeply appreciated! Thank you!
