Help Lisa Rebuild
Sometimes life can change in a matter of minutes, and unfortunately, that is exactly what happened to Lisa and her daughter.
They watched helplessly as floodwaters swept away nearly everything they owned. Their belongings, storage, outdoor furniture, and everything they had in their yard were lost to the flooding. The devastation has been heartbreaking. Before they can move back into their trailer, there is a lot of work that needs to be done. The area needs to be cleared and allowed to dry before the trailer can be moved back into place. On top of that, there is roof damage that needs to be inspected and repaired, a new sewer hookup and water line are needed, and they may also need a new electrical hookup before the trailer can safely become their home again.
The losses don’t stop there. Their storage and everything inside it were completely lost, along with almost everything they had outside. They were fortunate enough to save Saiya’s bikes and a wagon, but unfortunately, that was about all they could salvage. They are starting over with almost nothing. No holiday decorations, outdoor rug or turf, table, umbrella, outdoor furniture, ice chests, or the many everyday items that make a house feel like home. Lisa has also missed two days of work while trying to deal with the aftermath of this disaster, adding even more stress to an already overwhelming situation. We are asking for help because no family should have to face something like this alone. Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help go toward the cleanup, necessary repairs, utility hookups, and replacing the basic belongings they lost. If you aren’t able to donate, sharing this fundraiser would mean just as much.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to everyone who takes the time to read, share, donate, or simply keep Lisa and her daughter in your thoughts. Every little bit of kindness makes a difference.
❤️ Let’s come together and help Lisa and her daughter get back on their feet and rebuild their home.
