Help Loving Mother and Son Rebuild after Life Changing Accident
My name is Bambi, and I'm a mother to an incredible 13-year-old boy who lives with Autism Spectrum Disorder. He is my world—my biggest joy and my everyday hero. His heart is full of kindness and resilience, and he's been my greatest source of strength through what has been the most difficult time of our lives.
In February 2024, our lives changed forever when I was hit head-on by a reckless driver. The crash left me with severe spinal injuries that now require multiple surgeries to replace vertebrae in my neck and back. Every day since has been filled with pain, uncertainty, and the overwhelming task of trying to recover, while still being the mom my son needs me to be.
I’ve been told that if I don’t have these surgeries, I could lose my mobility. Recovery will be long and difficult—and during that time, I won’t be able to work or provide for my son like I need to. On top of everything, we lost our only vehicle in the accident, and the medical and legal bills piling up fast.
I’m currently waiting on disability assistance, but I’ve been told it could take years. In the meantime, I am facing the terrifying reality of not being able to pay rent, bills, or keep a roof over our heads. I’m reaching out with a humble heart to ask for your help.
Your support will go directly toward:
•Securing a safe and reliable vehicle
•Covering rent and essential bills
•Paying for legal fees related to the accident
•Handling medical expenses not covered by insurance
Every donation, no matter the amount, is a step toward keeping our home, getting through these surgeries, and giving my son the stability he deserves. I’ve come so far in my recovery already, but I can’t do this next part alone. We are fighting to stay together, to heal, and to keep hope alive.
Thank you for reading, for caring, and for being part of our journey.
🤍With gratitude, Bambi
