Hi everyone,

My name is Mackenzie Carter and I never thought I would find myself creating a fundraiser, but sometimes life brings unexpected challenges that you cannot prepare for. Right now I am facing one of those moments.

For as long as I can remember, I have struggled with breathing issues. Simple things like exercising, sleeping through the night, or even just getting through a normal day often left me short of breath and constantly exhausted. After many doctor visits and consultations, it became clear that I needed surgery to improve my airflow and finally be able to breathe normally.

I recently underwent surgery to correct the issue. The procedure was designed to open up my nasal passages, reduce blockages, and improve airflow so I can live a healthier, more comfortable life. While I am hopeful for the long term benefits, the costs have been far greater than I expected.

Between the surgery itself, the hospital stay, anesthesia, medications, and follow up care, the bills have become overwhelming. Unfortunately, my insurance only covered a portion of the procedure, leaving me with a financial burden I simply cannot manage alone.

I am doing my best to recover and take care of these bills at the same time, but the stress of knowing what I owe is making it harder to focus on healing.

That is why I am asking for your help. Every contribution, no matter how small, will go directly toward covering my medical expenses. Even if you cannot donate, sharing this fundraiser with others would mean so much to me.
