My name is Marni and I have Graves' Disease & Thyroid Eye Disease, both are autoimmune conditions. I have been fighting this alone since 2016. I am about to lose my apartment and have my electric turned off. What few foods I can digest I am unable to buy. I am going to lose everything, and I need help! I have depleted my savings; my retirement & I have lost almost everything.

Please, I need help! It has taken everything within me to ask for help.

Along with all the symptoms that come with Graves', I have since developed horrible and painful digestive issues, severe abdominal distension, pain & swelling in my hands, wrists and shoulders, increasing migraines with vertigo and visual disturbances, pitting edema in my legs, feet and arms. weird skin problems and I alternate between insomnia and narcoleptic type need to sleep. This is both exhausting and causes depression and fatigue. The hair on my arms and end parts of my eyebrows have fallen out, but still holding onto my hair so far.

Due to a company merger previous overtime and bonuses have ceased at work and I am unable to make as much as I used, causing me not to be able to afford the medical insurance offered.

Your donations will help to cover the costs of doctor visits, specialist, some tests, some treatments, current list of medication, supplements & some living expenses. This will help with immediate needs and hopefully get a little bit closer to finding the root cause of what is happening to me.

I can answer any questions you might have, and I will provide updates as things go along. The picture I posted is a before and after. The after photo is the active phase of the Thyroid Eye Disease (TED). Since then, my body has gone from looking anorexic due to severe weight loss, to obese, as I fluctuate between hyperthyroidism and hypothyroidism. I do not recognize myself in the mirror anymore.
