I found out two weeks ago that I have early onset fast acting cataracts. I need surgery quickly to stop the deterioration and correct the condition. I am battling with the idea that I've always had great vision and now I'm going blind in my 30s. I am already struggling driving at night and reading. The good news is the surgery is common and considered very safe. But even with the surgery, I would need some type of corrective lenses. I could opt for upgraded lenses which correct my current stigmatism and prevent future impairments that might affect me later in life, unfortunately insurance doesn't cover the cost. Between these lenses and my out of pocket expenses, I'm looking at a $10,000 expense. Hoping to collect some dollars towards this expense. Thank you for reading.
