Hi everyone! My name is Hien Bui, and I’m reaching out for support as I embark on my journey to become a pilot. Aviation has always been my dream, and I have recently started working on my Private Pilot License (PPL). However, flight training is extremely expensive, and I need your help to make this dream a reality.

Ever since I was young, I have been fascinated by airplanes and the freedom of flight. As an Asian woman for whom English is a second language, I know that the aviation industry has not always been the most accessible path. However, I refuse to let these challenges stop me from achieving my dream.

I took the first step by enrolling in flight school, and I am currently training for my PPL. This is just the beginning—I hope to continue my training all the way to becoming a commercial pilot. I want to inspire others like me to pursue aviation, no matter their background.

Flight training is costly, with tuition, aircraft rental, instructor fees, exams, and materials quickly adding up. The cost of obtaining a PPL alone can range from $15,000 to $20,000, and this is just the first step in a long journey. While I am working hard to cover as much of the cost as possible and applying for scholarships, I still need additional support to continue training without financial setbacks.
