My name is Taneisha Clemons, and I am a Doctoral Candidate at Walden University. I started the program in August 2018 (Fall quarter). I have been relentlessly pursuing my Doctorate in Education, specializing in Special Education. I have been teaching for the last eight years, and anyone that knows me would tell you that I love what I do and will always advocate for my students and their needs. I've publicly shared my teaching and doctoral journey with many others who have supported me along the way with words of encouragement. Although I am currently unemployed, I am seeking full-time employment.

My research explores the lack of teacher preparedness for elementary school teachers working with students with learning disabilities. I am in the final stage of my program (data collection and results) and didn't realize I had maxed out on federal financial aid until I checked my financial aid package this week. I was only given $ 594 for the following three quarterly terms (May-Feb); however, each term costs $33200. I am on track to complete my program by the end of the year. This quarter just started May 29th and ends August. I have attached pictures of my current account balance, proof of what stage I am in currently, my GPA, and a screenshot of my transcript.
