Help me fight!
I am a proud stay at home wife to an honorably discharged Army veteran. Keith changed my life the day he let me choose a more traditional role, and be a stay at home wife. Keith works so hard to be an excellent provider. He maintains the entire weight of financial responsibility for our family including medical (I am a type 1 diabetic), a few wants (Keith will spoil me with a great cheeseburger).
Keith went to the doctor for what we that was going to be a minor cardiac issue that has turned into a more complicated condition due to trouble with a valve. Keith was not prepared to not work, and we were not prepared to not have any income or emergency back up which has put us in an emergency financial situation.
Keith is an honorably discharged veteran, but, not a disabled veteran. Programs such as Wounded Warrior are not able to provide assistance because Keith is not disabled.
I am in need of emergency financial help groceries, we are using the local food banks. The financial distress has made the utilities behind and we are not in a position to catch up and will be facing disconnection notices. I am a type 1 diabetic and I do not have insurance, I need help with diabetic supplies such as insulin and test strips. I am almost to the point of desperate need of basic cleaning supplies: dish soap, laundry soap, bleach, trash bags.
I am not in a position where I can step up and take ANY full time or part position that would offer the slightest financial relief due to my diabetes.
If you are able to donate anything to help my family during this emergency, you would literally be making a difference in a strangers life.
One love~Heather
