I'm so pumped to announce that I'll be Participating in the "Vortex Optics Open/PCC National Championship" which will be held at the CMP Range in Talladega Alabama in October.

I am a single father of two great boys. I am retired from law enforcement and the military (Go Army). And as a disabled veteran I am on a strict monthly budget. So to take a trip of anything out of the regular day to day ritual. I have to save up months in advance. As most parents do. I spend 99% of my time with my boys fishing and competitive shooting. We enjoy shooting USPSA. United States Practical Shooting Association. The type of competitions that people watch on TV. We shoot local and state matches. But until this week I have never won a slot to a National Championship. This is my Bucket List Vacation/Dream.

My 16 year old son and I practice weekly and go to a few local level 1 matches each month. Beside this being a great bonding experience. It teaches life lessons and helps with building a valuable work ethic. My son is pushing me each day to get better.
