help me in my recovery
My name is Jose Palacios, I was born in El Salvador. I am 29 years old. Single and I have no children, but I want to improve myself in life. I chose the option of my life to emigrate illegally to the United States in February alone. I was working in Mexico, Chiapas, Tuxtla for 4 months as a grill assistant in a churraqueria. In May of this year 2024 on the 24th. I begin the continuity of my journey to my American dream. Being afraid of the Mexican immigration office in this past time. Being on the border of Ciudad Juarez, Mexico and El Paso, Texas, the date of July 5, 2024 3:30 a.m. I was climbing the border wall with other people from different Latin American countries upon hearing the Mexican immigration office. In desperation, many threw themselves from the height of the wall no matter what happens. I was one of those who didn't care about the height and started to climb the wall. I got to the top of the border and another immigrant was coming up and he couldn't control his weight on the edge of the border and he accidentally pushed me. When I fell to the ground I was already at the Texas pass. I lost mobility in my feet and fractured both feet.

I had no other option than to turn myself in to the US immigration office. Immigration took me to a hospital in Las Palmas, Texas. After seeing my x-rays and seeing the severity of my broken foot, they referred me to the Del Sol Hospital in El Paso, Texas. I was held in custody for 4 days while my profile was reviewed in my country and here in the United States, after looking at the results and having a good result, immigration gives me the opportunity to stay in the United States for 2 years.

My process has been very extensive, which includes travel expenses from Uber, payments on the Airbnb card for the stay in El Paso, Texas, and airfare to be here with my family in Las Vegas. My family has made sacrifices, especially my grandmother, who quit her job to take care of me during my recovery. And I want to help my family for all the financial sacrifice they have made for me. Your donation would be very helpful, to help pay my grandmother's credit card and buy food for the house.

I had the irons embedded in El Paso, Texas, and I had surgery at the UMC in El Paso, Texas. After spending the days at the studio where I lived and a week after the surgery, I decided to travel to Las Vegas with my grandmother, where my family lived.

To this date I have asked for the opportunity to get Medicare and I am taking my process at UMC Nevada. I will show you the process of my recovery.
