Hello,

My name is Raina and I'm so proud to say that I'm a survivor of domestics abuse. After years of mistreatment and neglect, I found strength in the very few loved ones I had left to leave and begin again. However, with my newfound freedom came a loss of so much including my home, my town, and my savings as these were all tied up with my ex-partner. 

While I have shelter and safety with my family, they cannot provide monetary support as they deal with their separate lives. I do not wish to burden the people who remained with me through years of pain. I was encouraged to reach out and ask for support through a fundraiser as I continue to work and put money back into my savings. The $10,000 goal is my long-term goal for myself. This fundraiser is only an aid to help me reclaim what I have lost.

So, I humbly ask that if you wish to donate to help my rebuild a foundation of support, I would be deeply grateful for your kindness and generosity. However small or big, I truly am just grateful to be here on my journey of recovery.
