I’m Asking for Help While I Work to Rebuild
This is not an easy post for me to make.
I’ve always tried to handle my struggles on my own, but sometimes you reach a point where you have to be honest and admit that you could use a little help.
My financial struggles started in December when I lost my dog. He was family, and when it became time to let him go, I had to spend $800 to have him peacefully put down. It was money I didn’t really have, but I couldn't let financial circumstances determine whether he received the care he needed at the end.
Since then, I’ve been caught in a cycle of trying to catch up financially.
I pay what I can, catch up on one bill, fall behind on another, catch up again, and then something else comes due.
At the same time, I’ve been dealing with an ongoing custody battle involving my youngest son. This has been an emotionally exhausting process, and there are also legal expenses and responsibilities that come with trying to properly advocate for your child.
The judge recently dismissed my EPO case. While I respect the court process, I am not giving up. I am working on taking the proper legal steps to ask the court to reconsider the situation and to have the custody and safety concerns fully heard and addressed.
Right now, I’m trying to do something very simple:
Get stable. Stay afloat. Protect my children. And rebuild my life.
So I’m swallowing my pride and asking for help.
If you are able to contribute, any amount would mean more to me than I can put into words. Whether it’s $5, $10, $20, or whatever you can comfortably give, it can help me catch up on bills, cover necessities, and continue dealing with the legal expenses surrounding my custody situation.
If you aren’t in a position to donate, sharing this post is just as appreciated. You never know who might see it or who might be able to help.
I’m not asking anyone to feel sorry for me.
I’m asking for a little support while I fight my way back to solid ground.
I’ve survived difficult chapters before, and I know this chapter will not last forever.
I am still standing.
I am still fighting.
I am still rebuilding.
And I am still believing that better days are ahead.
If you can help, thank you.
If you can share, thank you.
If all you can do is send encouragement, thank you.
Every bit of support matters right now. ❤️
💙 Keep my family in your thoughts and prayers
One step at a time. One day at a time. I’m going to get through this.
