Last November i lost my job and health insurance. After months and about 200 applications I finally found a job. I've been Doordashing to keep my car and luckily my family has been able to help with housing and other costs. My ex-husband has also been very understanding and has provided the things our children need without my help. I started my new job about three weeks ago but training and working has cut into my ability to doordash and I have fallen behind on my car payment. I currently owe two months of $587 and my tags expired in April, another $326. To top it all off I desperately need an eye exam. My last one was over two years ago. My glasses broke almost 6months ago and I've been wearing my last pair of bi-weekly disposable contacts since then. I can only wear them for a couple hours before they become irritating and painful. I've been suffering through my 8-10 hours shifts but its becoming to much. After a couple hours my eyes are so red and watery and extremely light sensitive. The eye exam is only about $120 but the glasses will be between $200-$400 depending on my prescription. Contacts run a little cheaper at about $70 for 6 weeks worth. My first check thar I will be getting soon has to go to rent phone and hopefully a little for my daughter's birthday gift. Im worried my car will be repossessed and that my contacts won't last til my 2nd check comes in 2 weeks. If I lose either of those I will lose my job as well. It took so long to finally find this job I worry I'll lose everything if I lose this one. Please any help is very much appreciated and I thank anyone who does.
