Around Easter this year, Melanie received a life altering diagnosis of stage 3 lung cancer. There was a lung nodule found on a screening MRI. She had this followed up with several scans and then the diagnosis was confirmed with a tissue biopsy. She has not had any symptoms and continues to remain positive.
